From September 3-5, representatives from South Korean McDonald's supply chain team and key supplier partners from their Supplier Advisory Committee visited the McDonald's Hubei Smart Industrial Park (also known as "Xiaogan Food City"). On the morning of September 3, the delegation visited Hubei Zidan Food Packaging Company, part of the Paper Packaging Business Division, for observation and exchange activities.
The visiting guests were received by Hou Peng, Sales Director of the Zidan Food Packaging, and Gong Hongliang, Regional General Manager. This visit aimed to foster mutual understanding and share experiences through communication and exchange.
Visit Highlights:
- Tour of Zidan's exhibition hall with comprehensive briefings
- Introduction to Zijiang Group, Zijiang Enterprise Co., Ltd., and Zidan's development history
- Overview of company products and green sustainable development initiatives
- Production workshop visit focusing on the OCOC (One Case One Code) project
- Observation of coding equipment on production lines
- Demonstration of palletizing process and automatic robotic arm stacking for napkins
The guests expressed admiration for the history of Zijiang and Zidan. While highly praising Zidan's innovative packaging designs and efficient management standards, they also expressed strong interest in implementing the OCOC project at their Korean facilities.
Future Collaboration: The Korean delegation recognized the significant importance of the OCOC project for product management and traceability, expressing hope for potential collaboration opportunities in the near future.
